COVID-19 Volunteer Story – Creating a fresh new look

Mark started volunteering on the same day that he was contacted. His role was to create a new look for #ME website and social media platforms.

#Me connects like-minded people and provides resources to improve self-awareness, promote a positive mindset and encourage sustainable, healthy habits.

After volunteering for the NHS, Mark worked with Zuli from Voluntary Action Leicestershire, who put him in touch with a Mental Health Support Group called “HashtagMe. After having a chat with Megan, the founder of #ME, Mark started work on creating a fresh new look on all their online media platforms, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and their website.

Working with existing branding guidelines and using corporate colours his objective was to create visitor and follower confidence by designing a more professional and accessible website, still keeping with the tone of a calming and welcoming atmosphere. Within a few weeks of development the website is now live. View #ME website here…

Mark quotes:

I have found this whole experience very eye opening and interesting. It’s been great to be able to give something back to the community using the skills I have developed throughout my creative career.”

Megan Dreyer, #ME Founder and CEO:

Mark’s expertise and skills have transformed our social media and website, giving us a fresh, professional look and allowing us to focus solely on providing support during this unsettling time. He really has been / is being a huge help! ‘Thank you for the quick turnaround!”
