Learning to ride a bike

VALUES supports adults with learning disabilities by helping them make friends, become more independent and get the most of out life.

Over the past few months he’s learned to ride a bike. This started with him first just going to the park and practicing there by walking the bike along with his feet but now he cycles miles at a time with confidence.

Lee is very proud of his achievement:

I enjoy taking part in the cycling group, I haven’t had any accidents. I could now go out with my own family on a bike if I wanted to.

He also said he enjoys getting out into the fresh air and going to places he hasn’t been before.

We’d like to congratulate Lee on his achievement.
