Nutrition Misssion CIC is a Community Interest Company based in Syston, Leicestershire.
They contacted us via our helpline service to ask us for information and support on how to set up their organisation. A member from our VAL Sector Support team guided them to explore the legal structures available to them and helped them to select the most appropriate structure for their needs and the activities for their organisation.
VAL also provided support with developing their objects and completing and submitting their incorporation documents for Companies House. Companies House did subsequently come back with a few further queries before confirming incorporation. VAL worked through these queries with them and supported the organisation in preparing their response.
With the help and guidance provided from our sector support team, the organisation is now a formerly registered CIC supporting vulnerable people and families in Syston and the surrounding villages by means of a Charity Shop and with a view to providing support around food and healthy living on a budget.
