Thank you to all our volunteers, for all the amazing things they’re doing to help us make a difference.
As a part-time employee, Jenny found that she had time and energy to offer so when the call went out for volunteers for the vaccination effort she leapt at the chance to help the national effort. From her research, she could see that VAL was the primary organisation in Leicestershire asking for volunteers. She signed up to volunteer through our Volunteering website.
‘Over the past year, I have developed good instincts on which parents were nervous and who needed extra reassurance. I have become a staple at my site and now help to show new volunteers the tasks involved.
I plan to continue helping with the vaccination effort for as long as necessary!’
