Essential Safeguarding for Adults at Risk
This session will enable you to identify, respond to and report issues relating to the safety of adults who are more vulnerable to abuse due to their community care need. It will cover competencies 1-6 as described by the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Safeguarding Board, meeting your essential requirements as front-line staff.
On completion of the session you will receive a certificate of attendance which can be used as part of your demonstration of competencies 1-6 of adult safeguarding. You will feel more confident in your role in identifying and reporting potential abuse.
Who is this session suitable for?
This session is suitable for those who have regular contact with adults with a social care need who are more vulnerable to abuse and are in a position to identify concerns.
