Reviewing Your Legal Structure
Do you know if your legal structure is the right type for how the organisation presently or intends to operate?
If it needs changing, do you know how to go about it?
Who is this course suitable for?
When an organisation is established, the trustees adopt a governing document or set of rules.
Reviewing governing documents from time to time is essential to ensure they are still suitable for the organisation and are legally up to date.
This course will give the opportunity for trustees and staff to look at how their present organisation is set up, what options for change are available, and what the process is.
What will I learn from this course?
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Understand whether the existing structure of your VCSE organisation is fit for purpose
- Consider what options for change are available
- What process you will have to follow to achieve that structural change.
Trustees and staff of VCSE Organisations based in Leicester City and/or Leicestershire, who are delivering services to residents locally.
