Voluntary Action LeicesterShire is running an online introductory workshop which will explain your role and responsibilities as a trustee using the Charity Commission guidance ‘Essential Trustee’.
The session will provide an understanding of the charity commission guidance for trustees and how this is relevant to your role, your key responsibilities and legal requirements of being a trustee. There will also be a breakdown of the support networks available to you
Who is this training suitable for?
This session would be of help to both new trustees as an induction into the role or for more established trustees looking to assess their own practice against national standards.
Entry Requirements
To access this course free of charge you will need to be currently working/volunteering for a voluntary or community organisation based in Leicestershire. If you are based in Leicester City, or outside of Leicestershire, you are able to attend at a cost of £30.00 per person. Please contact training@valonline.org.uk to make this arrangement.
Booking

This training will be delivered online via Zoom; once attendees have booked they will be sent the Zoom link the day before the training.
