Introduction to the Listening Wood Project

Join us to find out more about the Listening Wood: a new project aiming to create community connections through sound art and nature.

In partnership with Voluntary Action Leicestershire, Coalville CAN and the Centre for Loneliness Studies, we will introduce the project and ways in which you can get involved.

You’ll also be able to hear an excerpt of the inspiration for the project, the play ‘The Autumn of My Years’, and hear from its author Henry Dawe.

The Listening Wood is a project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund through Charnwood Forest Geopark’s community heritage grants.
