YES Project Administrator

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Youth Employability Support (YES) LeicesterShire Project, working with young people who are ‘furthest from the labour market’. This is an exciting project delivered by seven partner agencies who are supporting young people aged 15-24 that are NEET achieve jobs, education and training outcomes.

The YES Project is a partnership between Voluntary Action Leicestershire and Bangladesh Youth & Cultural Shomiti, The Bridge East Midlands, Highfields Community Association, Leicestershire Cares, The Prince’s Trust and Soft Touch Arts.

You will deliver an efficient, customer focused and professional administrative service for the project and the team, overseeing the effective practical operation of the back office function, to support project delivery.

This role requires a proactive and dynamic approach, excellent administrative and organisation skills, a keen eye for detail combined with the ability to process detailed information, manage complex processes, prioritise and multi-task. We are a small project team working with structured processes and to tight timelines and targets, so flexibility and a “can do” attitude are a must.

The role is varied and duties include maintenance of project and other office systems, collating performance reports, support with collating and processing funding claims and liaising with project partners. You will also have responsibility for diary management, servicing Project Board and team meetings and supporting workshops, focus groups and events.
