Kelly has an extensive history in volunteering and has dedicated her time to causes such as Oxjam Music Festival, Beating Bowel Cancer, FTM Dance, Leicester Comedy Festival, Big Difference Company, The I Love Me Project, Independent Venue Week, Kidscape, Braunstone Bonanza, Art Beat Festival, De Montfort University, Coventry University, Scoliosis Association UK and the YMCA.
Having gained a BSc Hons in Psychology, Kelly has worked within the sector in support worker roles, before moving onto administration, management and training roles. Kelly is currently enjoying what she describes as her ‘dream role’ of an Events and Communications Officer.
Kelly has recently been named as Young Director of Iconic Music, Drama and Dance Ltd (Social enterprise) which aims to help people developing their passions, find new audiences and discover great opportunities.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys attending dance choreography classes and getting involved with local film production.
Kelly was recently presented with the Outstanding Woman in Arts, Music and Media award at the East Midlands Women’s Awards.
