Creative Futures

The Creative Futures project will support those in the east of Leicester City to gain confidence and employability skills. VAL is working alongside The Highfields Centre and The Mighty Creatives (TMC) to offer a combined programme that will incorporate the Arts Award. 
This project will support young people to develop their knowledge whilst utilising volunteering to gain practical skills and experience towards employability.

Building your future through Creative Arts

• Achieve a Level 1 or Level 2 Arts qualification
• Learn teamwork and independence, creativity and critical thinking, leadership and collaboration
• Find out the benefits and gain valuable employability skills through volunteering
• Build your confidence and communication skills
• Do you need Employment Support you can access face to face adult learning and employability sessions per week

This approach gives you the choice to develop your skills and grow professionally. The project will help you connect
with job opportunities and explore creative careers to improve your life.
