Climate Action Volunteering and Partnerships Webinar

VAL is working in partnership with Leicestershire County Council in hosting a virtual meeting to bring together people that are either working in this area or interested in working together on tackling climate change and similar areas. We will host this meeting on Thursday 16 May 10am-11am.

As the local Volunteer Centre, VAL has seen an increased interest from volunteers in outdoor activity, tackling climate change and getting involved in hyper-local activities since the pandemic. We have also been working with several local organisations looking to coordinate activities to look at climate action, supporting green issues and building local partnerships to make a positive impact, so we are looking to bring people together to provide some updates and discuss potential for further collaboration going forward.
