VAL is working in partnership with Loughborough University, who are undertaking some research into social care preferences. As part of this partnership working we are hosting a webinar so that the researchers can introduce their project and we can facilitate some discussion on how VCSE organisations and community stakeholders can get involved. Opportunity to feed into research project into British public’s social care preferences

We’re in the early stages of a new research project on the British public’s social care preferences, funded by a British Academy/Leverhulme Small Research Grant.

To ensure that our project’s results are relevant and informative, we’re currently looking to have third-sector organisations and other stakeholders with an interest in social care reform feed into the research design.

Our research design will allow us to investigate how a variety of specific policy components – as suggested by those feeding into the project – may increase or decrease public support for social care reform. We’ll then present the findings to those who fed into the research design, once the data have been collected and analysed.
