VAL are working with local groups and Local Area Co-ordinators to offer community groups the chance to come together (in-person) for network.

Would you benefit from a refresher about the running of your group?

VAL are working with local groups and Local Area Co-ordinators to offer community groups the chance to come together (in-person) for networking and support.

Questions you might have:

• How to deal with difficult situations and/or challenging group dynamics
• Does my group need insurance?
• What policies and procedures should my group have? How to use them in practice?
• How do we run an AGM (Annual General Meeting)
• How do I formalise my group?

This will be an opportunity to get our heads together to discuss these things, share our knowledge, and be able to ask for insights and advice from the VAL team.
This session would also be good for people who are thinking about setting up a group and would like some guidance on the steps needed to make this happen.

Follow up training and one to one support can be offered if groups feel they would benefit from this.

This event is available only to VCSE organisations with a registered address in the county of Leicestershire and providing support to county beneficiaries.
