VAL Funding Surgery
Struggling with a funding application? Had an application rejected and not sure where to go next?
Uncertain whether to apply to a specific fund?
Not sure about what project costs to include in the budget?
Got a rough idea for a project, but not sure how to scope this out?
Don’t worry – Voluntary Action LeicesterShire is on hand to help county based groups with any queries you have!
VAL are holding a Funding Surgery on Wednesday 26th June at Syston Community Centre. The Sector Support Team will be available to discuss any funding applications you are currently working on or are thinking about applying for in the future. We can advise on any aspect of your application and also suggest other funds you could apply to:
- Help you identify potential funders with a Funding Search
- Carry out a read and review of applications you are working and chat this through with you
- Have a chat about your project ideas and how you could shape them into funding bids
- Think about potential partnership working with other groups
- Talk through rejected funding applications and areas to develop for future bids
- Talk through project budgets
- Anything else that you might want to talk through
Once you have booked your place we will allocate you a time slot with a member of the Sector Support Team.
Please note, this session is free of charge to groups within Leicestershire who have County beneficiaries. Groups with solely City beneficiaries, or from outside Leicester are still welcome to attend, but a charge of £30.00 per attendee will apply.
