Understanding Your Role as a Trustee

This short online introductory workshop will explain your role and responsibilities as a trustee using the Charity Commission guidance ‘Essential Trustee’.

Who is this course suitable for?

This session would be of help to both new trustees as an induction into the role or for more established trustees looking to assess their own practice against national standards.

By the end of the session you will:

• Gain an understanding of the charity commission guidance for trustees and how this is relevant to your role
• Understand key responsibilities as a trustee
• Have an understanding of your legal requirements
• Support networks available to you

Please note, this training is free of charge to groups within Leicestershire who have County beneficiaries. Groups with solely City beneficiaries, or from outside Leicester are still welcome to attend, but a charge of £30.00 per attendee will apply.
