Over the last few months, the MoVE team have been working in a more embedded way with a number of partners to better understand the way that food has been coordinated and distributed to communities.
Through this work, they have seen innovative and empowering strategies being adopted by community groups, the voluntary sector and local authorities.
This webinar is an opportunity to share learning from some of these different approaches.
Beyond this, the MoVE want to facilitate an important conversation about the longer-term strategies for dealing with the complex and intersectional challenges of food poverty.
To explore this topic, they are bringing together an expert panel:
- Rajesh Makwana, Sufra NW London
- Mark Game, The Bread and Butter Thing
- Kim Newstead, Community Food and Health, Public Health Scotland
- Dee Woods, Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN)
After the panel, there then will be a Q & A session. You will have the opportunity to submit your questions in advance of the webinar, on their ESA online ecosystem.
