Buildings Support Officer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Buildings Support Officer to join our Front of House Team.

You will lead on the planning and delivery of an end to end effective customer support service for our buildings clients, VAL tenants, staff and other users.

You will be the lead onsite contact for VAL Tenants, clients and meeting room users. Undertaking reception and meet and greet duties, front of house administration and co-ordination you will also plan and co-ordinate Building cleaning and maintenance rotas. Working closely with the Buildings Team Manager you will need to implement planned buildings maintenance schedules and practices mindful of health, safety and security compliance for the building and its users. This role will also undertake the Lead responsibility for the site Fire Marshall Team. Informing and developing opportunities and resources for income generation from the building will be a feature of the role.

This role entails some weekend and Bank holiday working on a Rota/Cover basis, which is shared across the whole team. Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills and personal pride in delivering to high standards are essential combined with established experience of working in an end to end buildings support role, including a reception service open to members of the public.

Experience in income generation is desirable but not essential. You will need to be flexible and proactive, with a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate excellent administration and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and multi-task to meet tight deadlines in a busy building.
