They are now looking to get feedback from a diverse range of organisations on their new home page and the potential journey a new NCVO member might take.
They are keen to ensure that their user research engages a diverse audience, so they are particularly looking to hear from:
- Staff at organisations who identify as being from a marginalised background. They are particularly (but not exclusively) hoping to speak to an ethnically diverse group and or those who identify as disabled.
- Staff who work at organisations that are NOT NCVO members at this time.
They are looking to interview 8-10 people.
Interviews take 30-45 minutes and participants will receive a thank you of £20 for their time.
This can be for you or they would be happy to donate it to a charity of your choice if you prefer.
Sessions will be held across the week of 26 April and you can book a date and time that suits you best here.
During the interview, the interviewer will show you a number of things and ask you to try to use them and provide feedback – so they can see what works and what does not. These will include:
- A draft version of a new home page and the journey a potential new NCVO member might take
- Some existing information articles or news pieces from the past few months
You do not need to read or prepare anything in advance and NCVO will use your feedback to make its website more user-friendly and accessible.
Details of NCVO’s existing website can be found here.
