This introduction to social media will explore the purpose of social media and how to utilise it to promote your organisation.

This session is an introduction to social media and how you can use it to create a voice for your organisation, engage with your audience and promote what you do.

This is a session for Voluntary and Community Sector organisations in Leicestershire, please note, our team will be in touch to confirm your organisations structure and location.

The session will explore the following

• Why use social media to promote your organisation
• How does having a strategy help
• Thinking of your group as a brand
• Creating a tone of voice
• Why social media is about community
• What does your strategy need

2 hour session – about 90 minutes (plus a short comfort break) followed by 30 minutes Q&A

Please note a maximum of 2 attendees per organisation

Please note, this training is free of charge to groups within Leicestershire who have County beneficiaries. Groups with solely City beneficiaries, or from outside Leicester are still welcome to attend, but a charge of £30.00 per attendee will apply.
