Learn, share and network – Volunteer Recruitment

This session will give you the opportunity to look at new ways of thinking about volunteer recruitment.

We all know that recruiting volunteers is no easy task at the moment. Recruitment methods that are currently being used don’t seem to be working in today’s climate.

Perhaps you want to try new ways to recruit volunteers but you’re not sure how to go about it?
VAL is holding a Learn, Share and Network event to help organisations look at new ways of thinking about volunteer recruitment.
Lets not just keep doing the same old thing – because for a lot of us it isn’t working!!

This event will cover the following:

• Can/should the volunteer recruitment process be simplified?
• Are there ways to speed up the volunteer recruitment process?
• Do we still need role descriptions for all volunteers?

Due to funding restrictions, this event is only available to Groups/charities/social enterprises in Leicester City, with city beneficiaries that have a focus on Health and Wellbeing.
