The independent food aid network (IFAN) is wanting to collate data from independent food banks/food parcel distributors and other independent food aid providers. Your organisation does not need to be part of the IFAN network to contribute data.
The survey they have designed includes questions on the number of people your organisation has supported on a monthly basis, the reasons people have needed to use your service, and other operational details.
IFAN will use the data to produce a report on independent UK-wide emergency food parcel distribution similar to their previously published reports.
Their previous reports can be accessed here:
The report will be shared publicly as well as with UK, national and local government officials.
The survey can be accessed here.
IFAN’s privacy policy can be accessed here, explaining how your data will be used.
Details of IFAN’s campaign work can be found here. Their latest work includes a letter to the Prime Minister in January 2021, where they were concerned that the Government was relying on volunteers and food bank staff to provide yet more emergency food parcels.
