Welcome to the Sandwich Station
The Sandwich Station is a training shop for people with learning disabilities on Newarke Street in Leicester.
VALUES clients staff the shop with the supervision of their support workers, where they can interact with customers and learn customer service skills.
Sandwiches are made by the VALUES clients, which customers can buy as part of affordable meal deals.
Grand Opening
The Sandwich Station was opened in September 2019 by Jon Ashworth, MP for Leicester South.
Jon said:
This is a fantastic inclusive initiative by the VALUES project, and I truly hope it is a success. I encourage people to pop into VAL and support the Sandwich Station.
