Join us for an informative session exploring the Oadby & Wigston Community Grants Scheme

This webinar, hosted by Oadby & Wigston Borough Council in partnership with Voluntary Action Leicester, will give VCSE groups the opportunity to learn more about the scheme and ask any questions you may have, alongside network with other local organisations.

This session will guide you through:

• Eligibility criteria
• Application tips
• Examples of successful community-led initiatives
• A Q&A with programme coordinators

This session is open to any VCSE group who delivers services within Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston

About the Fund

Community organisations will have opportunity to apply for one of two Community Grants, either:

• Capital Grant – up to £1000

For one-off purchases of physical assets, equipment or construction that will provide a lasting benefit to the organisation or community, such as refurbishing a community building, replacing boilers or lightning or installing security measures such as CCTV or alarms.

OR

• Revenue Grant – up to £500

For costs directly associated with delivering a project, activity or event, such as venue hire, activities, resources, printing and promotional materials or specialist staff costs directly related to project delivery.

We are also launching a Warm Spaces Grant, where organisations can apply for up to £500 to run a Warm Space. These are places that provide a warm, safe and welcoming place where people who are struggling to heat their homes can gather free of charge.
