Meet the Funders will run in two sessions 10am - 11:45am and 12:15pm to 2pm.
You only need to attend one session.
More funders will be added as their attendance is confirmed.
As well as having the opportunity to meet funders you will also be able to talk to the following:
VAL Sector Support Team – available to discuss any support you need with your organisation or volunteer recruitment.
Spaces are limited to 2 per organisation.
This session is open to VCSE groups based in Leicester and Leicestershire

Social connections and community activities are at the heart of creating healthier, happier lives and a flourishing society. That’s why we support amazing community-led projects.
We offer funding from £300 to £20,000. And can support your project for up to two years. You can apply for funding to deliver a new or existing activity or to support your organisation to change and adapt to new and future challenges. Find out more here
Reaching Communities England
Offers a larger amount of funding (over £20,001) for projects that last up to five years.
We’re looking for projects that work with their community – whether that’s a community living in the same area, or people with similar interests or life experiences.
The Severn Trent Community Fund is supporting local charities and community groups with £2million a year.
Our customers, and the communities we live and work in, are at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we decided to support local charities and community groups with over £20million in the ten years from 2020. If you’re helping to make a real and tangible difference in our communities, we want to know!
New project funding– Grants available £2,000 – £20,000 and £20,000 -£50,000.
Core funding– Funding for organisations that deliver vital community services, continue existing delivery. Grants of between £5,000 – £20,000 for 1 year.

Sport England’s Movement Fund offers crowdfunding pledges and grants to improve physical activity opportunities for the people and communities who need it most. Awards are available from £300 to £15000 for projects which last up to 12 months.

Organisations within the Airport’s Area of Benefit can apply for either of the two funds currently offered by EMA.
The EMA Community Fund (up to £2,000)- This fund is dedicated to bringing lasting benefit to those areas most affected by the airport’s operations.Eligible charities, community groups and not-for-profit community organisations can apply for grants up to £2,000 for tangible items of lasting benefit, such as equipment and furniture.
The EMA Community Sponsorship Fund (up to £200)- The EMA Community Sponsorship Fund provides small grants of up to £200 to support eligible local charities and community groups with projects and events that provide a benefit to the local community and, without support, might otherwise not be able to take place.
Using money raised by National Lottery players, we distribute grants from £10,000 to £10million to support projects across the UK that connect people and communities to the national, regional and local heritage of the UK.

Risk Ready Communities is part of a community resilience programme to prepare, protect and empower communities across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland for the key risks they face, now and in the future.
Communities will get a range of tools and support, including webinars and in-person sessions, to strengthen their resilience and help them recover faster from emergencies.
