For any paid-for courses, no refund will be made for bookings cancelled less than five working days before the event. A fee of £45 will be charged for failure to attend a course for which a booking has been made without prior notification to Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL).
These courses are free for not for profits or VCSE organisations only. Any Businesses that wish to attend please note that there is a charge of £45 per person.

In the event that VAL needs to cancel the course, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible. You will be offered the choice of a transferring to the same course at a later date or an alternative. For those courses that have been paid for then a full refund or the option of alternative courses will be provided to you for your decision.
Organisations outside of Leicester and Leicestershire would usually be charged at £45 per person, however, whilst we are in COVID-19 lockdown there will be no charges to those outside of Leicester or Leicestershire. This will be reviewed over the next few weeks and we will keep you updated should there be any changes.
Please note: To be eligible for our free courses you will need to be working or volunteering for a Charity, Community Group, Voluntary Organisation or Social Enterprise in Leicester or Leicestershire. Whilst under COVID-19 lockdown we will gladly accept any aforementioned non-profit organisation anywhere in the United Kingdom who needs Training and Guidance.
