We are delighted to announce that Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) has been awarded £70,000 from the Wolfson Foundation to install an accessible lift at our premises. The funding will help us make our building more accessible, ensuring that everyone can access our services, activities and community spaces. The new lift will make a significant difference to visitors, volunteers, staff and partner organisations who use our premises.
The Wolfson Foundation is an independent grant-making charity that supports high-quality projects across the UK in areas including science, health, heritage, humanities and the arts. Since its establishment in 1955, the Foundation has awarded more than £1 billion to around 14,000 projects across the UK.
