We’re thrilled and deeply grateful to have been chosen as the charity sponsor for this year’s spectacular Fireworks Event on Saturday 1 November.
It was the perfect way to kick off our milestone year, offering a special opportunity to thank all of our incredible VAL staff and their families for everything they do. Their dedication, passion and commitment continue to make VAL the vibrant, supportive community it is today, and this event was a small way to celebrate them.
In addition to the fireworks, we were delighted to collect donations for VALUES, our project dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities. Through VALUES, we aim to help participants develop confidence, independence and lasting friendships, empowering them to live fuller, more connected lives. The generosity and support shown by attendees will make a real difference to the people we serve.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for the evening and supported our cause. A special thanks also goes to Oadby Racecourse for their wonderful partnership and for hosting such a memorable night. The event was a brilliant way to celebrate 60 years of VAL and create memories that will stay with us for years to come.
