Jenna's journey began with a desire to make a meaningful impact through local volunteering, to support her community.
Jenna reached out to VAL with the goal of exploring local volunteering opportunities. Eager to make a difference, she was quickly connected to a one-off project where she contributed to raising awareness of local issues. Through writing news articles and blogs, Jenna helped inform the community about the support services available to them.
Reflecting on her experience, Jenna shared,
“I want to increase my volunteering efforts and would love to continue contributing online every year.”
Her passion for giving back has inspired her to seek more opportunities in the future.
